Relations between society and nature: notions and theories; arcadian, instumental and sustainable concpet, dialectical relations between society and nature; the role of nature for the society, social systems and the influence of nature on the social development and economy; factors of social development; indicators for measuring the level of social development.
Geographical approaches to the study of agriculture; natural conditions for agriculture; elements of agricultural economy; agricultural production and consumption; land ownership in agriculture; agricultural land use; models in study of agriculture in geography; changes and trends in modern agriculture; specialisation and diversification in agriculture; agriculture and environment.
Geographcial approaches to the study of industrialization: development of manufacturing and industrialization, geographcial aspects of the industrialization, contemproray development of manufacturing, global spatial pattern of manufacturing, development of manufacturing in Slovenia.
