Since 2014 the Department of Translation at the University of Ljubljana has got two Joint Master's Degree Programmes Translation (Slovene-English-French) with two French academic institutions in Paris:
a) a Joint Master's Degree Programme Translation (Slovene-English-French) with INALCO (Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales), Paris.
b) a Joint Master's Degree Programme Translation (Slovene-English-French) with ISIT (Institut supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction), Paris.
A maximum of 5 students of the University of Ljubljana are admitted per year. The joint degrees build on the already existing MA programmes in translation and offer the students a selection of the best elements at both institutions. The additional virtue of the joint degrees is that students have to spend at least one semester studying at the partner institutions and gather at least 30 ECTS points. The students thus not only get into direct contact with the culture and language of both languages they work with but also benefit from a wide selection of translations seminars at both institutions.
• Credits: 120 ECTS credits
• Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
• Mobility: at least 1 semester = 30 ECTS credits at partner university
• Language of instruction: Slovene/French/English
