This course consists of a seminar (10 hours), and seminar tutorials (20 hours).
The starting point for participation in this subject is knowledge obtained at Fieldwork 1 subject (especially the preliminary report made).
The principal aim of the subject is to train students for producing the actual expert reports on executed fieldwork researches according to the criteria and standards of the Regulations of archaeological researches issued by the Ministry of Culture of Slovenia.
In the seminar part, the students are taught in details the fundamental documents, procedures and requirements of the Regulations of Archaeological Research and good practices in Slovenia and abroad.
During the seminar tutorial, the students supplement and upgrade their preliminary reports up to the level of accuracy and quality required by the Regulations of Archaeological Research. In doing this, the students should already be capable of understanding the methodology of the archaeological field research, problems of post-deposition, and interdisciplinary discussion of archaeological stratigraphy and the archaeological record in general. Seminar tutorial includes also training for publication of expert reports.
