Facilities
The Department (Oddelek za prevajalstvo) is located on the ground floor of the Faculty of Arts (Filozofska fakulteta) main building. Apart from department offices, our facilities also include a computer lab, subtitles and interpreter training labs, and a library with a wealth of academic and periodical resources.
From the airport
By car
The easiest route from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (Brnik) to Ljubljana is the E61 highway. Continue along E70, and take the Ljubljana-zahod exit. Turn towards centre, and then continue along Tržaška cesta, followed by Trg mladinskih delovnih brigad. Take Aškerčeva cesta.
By bus
There is a bus line from the airport to Ljubljana. The bus departs every full hour (5AM-10PM); the journey takes about 45 min. For more information see here.
By taxi
Taxis are available in front of the main airport building. The fare to Ljubljana is about 40 EUR, depending on the destination. For more information see here.
From the bus/train station
The department (A) is easily accessible from the central bus and train station (B), either on foot (20 min) or by car/bus (lines 1 and 6).
