Translation oriented contrastive Slovene-French textual analysis C

Students refresh the basics of textology and discourse pragmatics with emphasis on the context, adressee and communicative purpose. They get to know the basic texttypes and prototyoes in French and Slovene: narration, description, argumentation, explanation, dialogue and monologue. They familiarise themselves with different approaches to translating of specific text types and genres using selected parallel texts that provide a basis for the principles of text formation in both languages.
